Teresa Palmer is one of those actors that you've probably seen before but not sure where. If anything, she's reason alone to watch due to her very believable acting.
Simple as that. This was an intensely good thriller drama. I never seen Max Reimelt in shows or movies, but it did well in his part.

If the story wasn't what it was, then we wouldn't have a movie, Duh! When Andi imprisons Clare for that long after her attempts to get out, she gets Stockholm Syndrome it's a real thing!
After a while the hostage cooperates with the captor as a survival strategy until they can escape. Clare, cooking, cleaning, learning a instrument, being friendly with Andi was all accurate to having Berlin or Stockholm Syndrome.
The movie wasn't slow at all, it moved consistently and kept up on the edge of your seat. It was a good buy!! Glad I saw it, and I agree with other people!!
Clever and good ending! I give it 3. It just didn't quite climax for me. This film stuck with me for a few days after watching it.
It was extremely visceral and I felt realistic. I tend to watch anything with Teresa Palmer anyway, and this might be my favorite captive genre type film I have seen.
It is definitely worth the watch for the psychological thriller fan. Teresa Palmer is always such an exceptional actress!
She's just incredible and raw in this movie that it was actually had to watch at times because of the disturbing premise of the situation she's in.
Max Riemelt is also amazing I love him in Sense8 too and is so extremely believable as psycho that I could never enjoy meeting him in person after watching this because he's that creepy in this movie!!
I love this movie, have watched it twice. Fantastic setup and acting, unpredictable turns with psychological interactions that leave you on the edge of your seat about what will come next.
Both acted superbly, and the male character is sad I had sympathy sometimes, but then mostly not. She delivered an amazing performance!
And Max is always so beautiful in everything he does Captivates you no pun intended almost right from the start. You get so sucked into the story that you want to "get out and push", but you don't want to give up because you MUST find out how it ends!!!!
