Otherwise the Service was good though rushed as it was busy and there didn't seem to be enough staff around.
Morale of the story go for drinks and the Beer Garden. I love the Schnitzel at Drosselbart, as they are honest. Well made, not too pricey, fast.
A nice owner and nice staff. The place is very local, but they do have menus in English most of the staff doesn't know they do.

Enjoy it!! I was here with 8 colleagues. And we had a very uncomplex night. Good food,great beergarden,fast service fair prices.
Terrace was full and everybody seemed to have a good time. My Grüne Sose was realy good. The patatoes was what I was taking for granted but realy stood out.
Great patatoes! We love the Drosselbart. Its patron is nice, the food solid, German, has good value for money and the atmosphere is relaxed. Usually you don't need a reservation to get a table, but there are evenings where this is different.
Go for one of the Been there with friends from around Germany and everybody wanted to taste some of the local specialties.
We ordered 'Handkäs mit Musik" salty cheese with cumin, onions and bread for starters. If you like it All was very good.

A shame we couldn't sit outside in the nice beergarden as it was to cold and wet. Good place to meet friends especially on warm days.
When visiting my parents, who live nearby, we have made it a tradition to have dinner at Drosselbart. The restaurant is down a side road, but the trip out of the way is worthwhile as there is a plethora of Frankfurt specialties on the menu The staff are friendlier than your average German customer service and the food has a definite homemade quality to it - good, honest German food.
They do have an English menu if you ask, though it doesn't seem to have as many items on it as the German menu, so ideally you should go with someone who speaks enough German to translate the menu for you and do the ordering.

Ci piace molto l'Drosselbart. Andare per uno dei Quando visitate i miei genitori, che vivono nelle vicinanze, abbiamo fatto una tradizione di avere la cena presso Drosselbart.
Hanno un menu in inglese se chiedete, anche se non sembrano avere come molti articoli su di esso come il menu tedesco, quindi idealmente si dovrebbe andare con qualcuno che parla abbastanza tedesco di tradurre il menu per voi e fare l'ordinazione.
Ci torneremo ancora e ancora. Raramente ho visto i turisti in qui, di solito locali a mangiare, bere, giocare a carte.
Lo posso consigliare per nulla da avere qualche drink prima di un concerto, mangiare con la famiglia o con gli amici, o mostrando i contatti della cultura aziendale di Francoforte.
